I went running twice yesterday. By 8:30 the kids were driving me crazy so we loaded up and went to the park. They played I ran. I have to say running on grass is a lot harder than on the road. I was surprised that I made it through the whole run. Each week the running part gets longer and harder. Week three has you running for three minutes at a time, for a total of 9 minutes of running. Boy that sounds kind of lame that I'm only at running for three minutes at a time, but I'm doing it. Last night Cyndi and I went out again and I did the run again. I actually ran faster and exerted myself more than I did in the morning run.
My new goal is to not only make it through the run but to exert myself more and run a faster pace.

ReplyDeleteMelis keep up the good work. It is so exciting for all of us to be exercising and trying to improve our bodies. Or at least that is what I am doing. Can't wait to run with you when you come to visit :)
